"Eleven Lines", 2002, lithograph printed on Somerset paper, 11" x 15" (sheet size), signed in pencil and numbered 4/10 by the artist, original condition.

Jeff Gordon (1952- ) was born and lives in New York City.  Art critics have characterized Gordon's work as having "reduced the superfluous to draw the simple - what is seemingly simple is underneath an exhibition of consummate mastery of the line". In 1982, Gordon produced the exhibition "Revolutions Per Minute - the Art Record (RPM)" consisting of twenty works of art as well as twenty original sound recordings by twenty artists including Chris Burden, Hannah Wilke, Joseph Beuys, Buckminister Fuller, Terry Fox, Jud Fine, Ida Applebroog, William Burroughs, Eleanor Antin and others.  The exhibition toured throughout the world and was exhibited at the Tate in London.  RPM is today used in art and psychology courses throughout the world.

Jeff Gordon was among the artists included in "The Atomic Salon" exhibit cosponsored by Ronald Feldman Fine Arts and The Village Voice.  Gordon also produced the "Artsounds Collection" which also met with critical acclaim.  He has exhibited extensively, including his latest solo art show of etchings at the Caraccio Studio, in the Chelsea district.  Jeff Gordon's work is in both public and private collections including the Museum of Modern Art, NYC, the Tate Gallery London, UK, and in galleries in New York and Paris.

We are pleased that Mr. Gordon has chosen Annalie's as sole gallery representative.
